What is Art Work Party?
Art Work Party is a platform where creative people trade skills with each other using time as the currency. Instead of paying with money, members pay each other in Hours. One hour of your work equals one hour of someone else's work, no matter what you do or how long you've been doing it.
How does it work?
Someone needs help with a project. They post a job. Other members offer to do it and say how many hours they think it'll take. The poster accepts an offer. Once the work is done and both people agree it's finished, Hours move from one account to the other. That's it.
Who is it for?
Anyone working in or around the arts. This includes musicians, writers, designers, illustrators, photographers, filmmakers, performers, curators, arts administrators, and the many people who keep creative practices running behind the scenes like mangers, booking agents, consultants, bookkeepers, grant writers, and anyone with skills to share with arts workers.
